People in the stone business know that Indonesia produces gemstones and precious metals. However, this country which has the worlds biggest archipelago with over 18,000 islands is yet to show it's full potential.

Indostone is a relatively young company formed 1998 but since inception has grown from strength to strength mainly due to our two prong marketing approach and ability to mine and secure good quality minerals and specimens. The nature of Indostone's business is basically mining and wholesaling minerals, rocks, semi-precious material and fossils. Indostone has various mining operations on going at the moment, the most popular one being a valuable find of CORAL STONE.

Initially INDOSTONE's major market was the USA where the company attends various gem and mineral exhibitions such as Denver, Laughlin, Quartzsite and Tucson, which put the company firmly on the map and has been very successful for them. Since the year 2000 however, Indostone has broken into the European and Chinese market.

The main product for Europeans being Agatized Coral and Petrified Wood. The Chinese market is a different ball game, whilst the coral is very popular in China, they are also orientated to other minerals such as Blue/Violet Chalcedony, Obsidian, Pumice and Agates. We have since June 2001 diversified into silver jewellery. We had so many beautiful stones, they were just waiting to be set into silver, so we got down to the drawing board, mixed and matched some stones, added some semi-precious coloured stones too and guess what? A great selection of jewellery priced very competitively, due to Bali being one of the silver capitals of Asia.
